Veg Burger Patty

A vegetarian patty is a veg burger patty. These patties contain a range of components, including veggies and grains. Vegetarians and vegans enjoy burger patties made from vegetables. They are available as frozen, ready-to-cook patties at numerous restaurants and fast-food chains, as well as in supermarkets. They can be grilled, fried, or baked, and are frequently served on a bun with classic burger toppings like lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Many kinds of veg patty now offer a range of tastes, including as spicy, mushroom, and black bean, that may be enjoyed in a variety of ways.

Ingredients

  1. Sweet corn – 2 tbsp.
  2. Peas/matar – 2 tbsp.
  3. Salt – ½ tsp
  4. Salt (for steam veggie) – 1/4 tsp
  5. Potato/aloo (boiled & grated) – 4
  6. Cumin powder – ¼ tsp
  7. Garam masala – ½ tsp
  8. Red chili powder – ½ tsp
  9. Chaat masala – ¼ tbsp.
  10. Coriander (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp.
  11. Bread crumbs – ¼ cup
  12. Oil (for frying)
  13. Corn flour (optional) – 2 tbsp.
  14. Maida/All purpose flour – ¼ cup
  15. Water – ½ cup

Cooking Instructions

  1. To begin, take 2 tablespoons of sweet corn, 2 tablespoons of peas, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Pour the steamed veggies into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add 3 cooked and mashed potatoes as well.
  5. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon of chaat masala, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  6. Stir in 2 tablespoons of coriander to thoroughly combine all the spices.
  7. Finally, add 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs and stir thoroughly. Breadcrumbs aid in the absorption of moisture from the mixture.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of corn flour, 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1/2 cup of water to make a slurry.
  9. Form into ball-sized patties and coat with maida or all-purpose flour slurry. Even coat with breadcrumbs.
  10. Keep the flame on medium when shallow frying in hot oil.
  11. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain well and set aside.
