Ingredients
- Pasta – 400 gm
- Bell pepper – 1 medium-sized
- Capsicum – 1 medium-sized
- Sweet corn – 150 gm
- Broccoli – 180 gm
- Oregano – 3 tbsp
- Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 3 tbsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 3 tbsp
- Butter – 4 tbsp
- Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
- Milk – 300 gm
Cooking Instructions
- Heat water in a deep pan. Once it starts boiling, add 1/2 tsp salt and pasta. Cook until soft, then drain and set aside.
- Chop the bell pepper, capsicum, and broccoli into desired shapes.
- Boil the chopped vegetables until they are 80% cooked, then drain them.
- In a pressure cooker, add sweet corn and cook for 2 whistles. Set aside.
- In a pan or kadhai, melt butter over low heat.
- Add all-purpose flour to the melted butter and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Slowly add milk while stirring to make a smooth white sauce.
- Keep stirring to ensure the sauce is lump-free. Add sugar and salt, then mix well.
- Cook the sauce on low flame until it thickens. Then, add the boiled vegetables, oregano, and chili flakes, and mix well.
- Add the boiled pasta and stir for 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot.
