Crispy Soya Cutlet

Today, we’re bringing the magic of Indian food into your kitchens with the recipe for Soya Chunks Cutlet. This delicious dish combines the healthy goodness of soya chunks with the bright flavors of Indian spices. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also a great way to get protein-rich soya chunks into your family’s diet.

Ingredients

  1. Boiled Potatoes – 2 medium-sized
  2. Sweet Corn – 1 cup, boiled
  3. Soya Chunks – 1 cup, boiled
  4. Salt (as per health and taste)
  5. Red Chili Powder – 1 teaspoon
  6. Hot Spices – 1 teaspoon
  7. Oil for Frying
  8. Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  9. All-purpose Flour – 1/2 cup
  10. Coriander Leaves (fine chopped) – 1/2 tbs

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the boiled and mashed potatoes, boiled sweet corn, minced soya chunks, salt, red chili powder, hot spices, and chopped coriander leaves.
  2. Mix everything well until you get a homogeneous mixture. Shape the mixture into cutlet-sized patties.
  3. Make a thin batter using all-purpose flour and water.
  4. Dip each cutlet in the batter, then roll them in the breadcrumbs for a crispy coating.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, and fry the cutlets until they are golden brown.
  6. Once done, remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with a side of your favorite sauce or chutney. And there you have it, your Soya Chunks Cutlet is ready!
