Crispy Veg Sticks

Ingredients

  1. Potatoes – 4 medium-sized
  2. Sweet Corns – 1 cup
  3. Peas – 1 cup
  4. Capsicum – 1, finely chopped
  5. Corn Flour – 2 tablespoons
  6. Salt – as per health
  7. Red Chili Powder – 1 teaspoon
  8. Oregano – 1 teaspoon
  9. Oil for Frying
  10. Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  11. All-purpose Flour – 1/2 cup

Cooking Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes, sweet corns, and peas until soft. Drain the water and let them cool.
  2. Grate the potatoes and mix with sweet corns, peas, and finely chopped capsicum.
  3. Add salt, red chili powder, and oregano to the mixture. Combine well.
  4. Shape the mixture into sticks. Make sure they are not too thick.
  5. Create a thin batter using all-purpose flour and water.
  6. Dip each potato stick into the batter, then roll in the breadcrumbs for that perfect crunch.
  7. Heat oil in a pan, and deep fry the sticks until golden brown.
  8. Drain excess oil using a paper towel.
