French fries, also known as chips or fries, are a popular side dish or snack made from thin slices of potatoes that are deep-fried until crispy and golden brown. They are believed to have originated in Belgium, and are a staple food in many cultures around the world. French fries are often served as a side dish to a main course, such as burgers, sandwiches, and can also be enjoyed on their own as a snack. French fries come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from thin and crispy shoestring fries to thick and fluffy steak fries. They can be seasoned with a variety of herbs, spices, and salt, and can also be topped with various condiments such as ketchup, mayonnaise, or cheese. They are a popular food item in fast-food chains and restaurants, and can also be found in supermarkets as frozen, ready-to-cook fries. They are also a popular street food and can be found in many street vendors. French fries are often considered a comfort food and are enjoyed in both casual and formal settings.
Ingredients
- All purpose flour/corn flour – 1/2 cup
- Potatoes – 4
- Salt – according to your taste
- Maggie Masala ae Magic – 1 pack
Cooking Instructions
- First, take 4 potatoes of the same size and wash and peel them well. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into half-inch circular pieces and set them aside.
- Next, take a piece of potato and cut it straight across in length to create a finger-shaped piece.
- Place the chopped potato fingers in a bowl and sprinkle all-purpose flour or corn flour on top, along with a pinch of salt. Mix well.

- Enjoy your hot and tasty French fries!
